My son was referred to Dr Wuerz by Boston children's. Dr Wuerz and his assistant Mika were great. They got my son in very quick and Dr Wuerz took his time to examine and explain in detail my son's injury he listened to our concerns. Dr Wuerz came up with treatment plan and consulted with my son's doctor's at Boston children's and has updated us throughout the process. He treated my son with great empathy and care. Great doctor.
Unable to perform the necessary procedure, Dr. Wuerz referred me to a companion doctor. Dr. Wuerz said that due to his professional relationship he'd get my appointment accelerated. One month and nearly 10 email messages later, Dr. Wuerz has gone silent, hasn't responded to any messages, and the doctor he referred me to seems to have no relationship or professional courtesy with or for Dr. Wuerz. It seems Dr. Wuerz views himself as more important, with greater influence, than his peers do.
The Wuerz is an awesome hip surgeon. He did both of my hips and I've had no problem's. I had a tear in both hips from martial arts and I was back on the mat not following doctors orders of course in 4 weeks, which he didn't recommend getting into that soon. It's been 2 years now since surgery and no issues
