Dr. McCarthy is a phenomenal doctor. We have been seeing him since my son was 6 months old. He is now 14. Dr. McCarthy has met my son where he is at every step of the way - having developmentally appropriate conversations about health and well-being, being very careful about letting him know how and why he was touching him, and answering questions honestly. He talks honestly about the pros and cons to various medical interventions and helps his patients feel empowered. I wish he could be the doctor for our entire family!
Dr. McCarthy is the best pediatrician in the Cities. He is thorough, wholistic, practical, and brilliant! My only wish is that he was a family doctor instead of just a pediatricia so we could all see him!
