Tom did a full replacement on my left hip in October 2020. On initial diagnosis I was skeptical that I needed a replacement. Dr Hoerner worked with me to make sure I was comfortable with his diagnosis. We tried a cortisone shot and I had an MRI on the hip. The result was that Tom was right. I needed a total replacement or I would suffer pain and disability the rest of my life.
