i have been fighting a sty for over 8 months now. back in july he scheduled me for surgery since it got infected. THE SURGERY ISNT TIL DEC 6TH??? AND THAT WAS MOVED UP FROM jANUARY 2024 DATE. I FIND THIS HORRIBLE
Dr. Fitzsimmons is super thorough and exudes confidence. He is professional and friendly - not super chatty. He's a Dr. not my friend... He is patient and explains things in layman's terms. I hate anything happening around my eyes and yet I don't feel fearful with him at the helm - all has been spot on. He comes highly recommended and does not disappoint.
Bend is lucky to have Dr Fitzsimmons. He reconstructed my bottom eyelid after a cancerous lesion was removed. He was very thorough, very cautious. The surface expression of my lesion was minimal, but ran deep into the tissue of my lid. That required some fancy reconstructive surgery involving sewing my upper lid to the lower so that tissue could reform on the excision site. I am happy with the results and appreciate his expertise. I went to 3 other opthamologists who could not diagnose my cancer
Dr. Fitzsimmons is an excellent doctor! He takes his specialty seriously and is a master of his craft. He removed skin cancer from my bottom eyelid, which was in a very fragile area, he also surgically repaired my eye after the moh’s surgery I needed to get as part of the procedure. He was thorough in his explanation, extremely cautionary in protecting my vision while preventing a scar at the same time. You can’t even tell I ever had my lid cut into! Thank you Fitz! :)
Nasty and incompetent staff. I had to go back 3 times after they kept giving me prescriptions that I could not see with. Then when I tried to go to another doctor, it was like pulling teeth to get my records for them. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
Can't leave him a positive review. On my last visit to my eye doctor, he asked me why I hadn't followed his recommendation to get my eye lids reduced. I said I just had it done in Bend, Oregon. He wanted to know who did it. I had the surgery with Dr. Fitzsimmons, and nothing looks different except one eye lid looks different from the other. I don't notice any relief from the surgery with him.
Dr. Fitzsimmons has performed two surgeries to remediate my sagging eyelids and brows. He is an artist, as proven by my outcomes! He is kind, patient, knowledgeable, and takes the time to explain what will happen and to answer questions.
Dr. Thomas D. Fitzsimmons, MD has a 3.1 star rating with 14 reviews.
