I've had 2 dealings with this doctor, both at Lower Umpqua Hospital in Reedsport. First was when my mother had "chest pains" and I had to take her to the ER. Nothing was found to be wrong after numerous tests and spending the entire day there. Dr Gerow was initially gruff but became much more "human" after awhile. The second time, my sister was in the ER. She had been put on antibiotics for an infection at the end of her tailbone that had been diagnosed first by her PCP as a "laceration" (???), then by a walk-in clinic PA as... read more
