May 19, 2019 Dr. Firestone replaced both my knees 15 months ago, and last week, I completed a three-day hike to the bottom of the Grand Canyon (and back up again)! I had exactly zero pain for the entire hike. I have had three major surgeries in the past two years. I can safely say that my hip surgery by Dr. Firestone was the most successful on all accounts. His surgical skills permitted a virtually pain free recovery and mobility without a walker or cane four days after surgery. Additionally, his pre-op procedures are closely managed by an excellent office staff, and followed by a nursing staff and PT group at Honor Healthcare trained by him to assure a seamless patient experience. Dr Firestone is an exceptional orthopedic surgeon. The confidence I had in him and his staff was a big part of such a rapid recovery. At 75, I was walking without assistance and very little discomfort, after 2 1/2 weeks. 2 Drs. and their family members who live in my community had hip and knee surgeries by Dr Firestone, told me "this is the Dr. you must see"
Never any problems. Pain free for 12 years. Total active after recovery in rehab. Recommend highly for surgery. He is total experienced.

Having anterior approach hip replacement at age 62, after 30 years of pain...has been life changing. The surgery went well and my recovery was very quick. I was pain free immediately following surgery, and also my knee pain completely disappeared. I was back riding horses and a complete exercise program by 3 months and have never looked back. I highly recommend Dr Firestone and his team.
I had a very bad hip issue - other surgeons were hesitant to assist. Dr Firestone did a great job - the first time I have been able to walk normally in 5 years!
can only rate at 5 star-if 5 star is best possible Dr. Firestone is an easy 10. I was crippled by 2 very unsuccessful hip surgeries. I was faced with a future of being permanently crippled. No other dr. would take on a case as difficult-Dr. Firestone did. The outcome was nothing short of miraculous-he fixed me. I strongly urge anyone with joint issues to see him first and avoid all possible problems. If you find yourself in a difficult position as I did -do not waste time with any other dr.
