Dr Kodama was extremely knowledgeable and skillful, and he was also patient, understanding, and had a good bedside manner. I would unhesitatingly recommend Dr. Kodama. He is one of the very best surgeons in the Washington DC area.
Dr. Kodama is an exceptional surgeon and I cannot say enough good things about him and his staff. Had surgery yesterday what do you think when you enter the surgical center they ask for your surgeon is and when you say Dr. Kadama where everyone you talk to says he’s the best and you’re lucky to have him as your surgeon . Well I wasn’t disappointed I went home with absolutely no pain little sore today but if I ever had to have surgery again he’s the first person I’m going to
I trust Dr. Kodama 's decisions. He is efficient professional. His staff members are very kind.
The person handling phone calls for new patients is inexorably rude. She talks to you like you just killed a puppy and she cannot believe you have the gall to ask a question. Never had an experience like that with a doctor's office in all my life.
I saw 2 surgeons before going to Dr Kodama. Both of them ignored my questions and told me I was worrying over nothing and being over-emotional. When I met Dr Kodama, I did not even get to my questions. He had reviewed my files and he came in prepared. He explained what needed to be done and why. He answered questions before I even asked them. The surgery as an overall success - and I am very happy with the outcome. If I need a follow up procedure, I will be going to him again.
I was very pleased with my whole experience. Dr. Kodama was recommended by my gastroenterologist to remove my gall bladder. I was a bit nervous as you are entrusting yourself and possibly your life to someone with whom you have no history. He immediately set my fears at ease with his professional, knowledgeable manner. Very caring, no rushing me through and surgery was perfect. No nausea, little post op pain. Gladly answered my questions. A surgeon with a great bedside manner
