Said he didn't think surgery would do any good since he really didn't see anything that stood out. Went to Dr Miles at Columbia Orthopedic Group and few weeks later went through spinal fusion at C-5 C-6&C-7 at Boone Hospital. Woke up after surgery and pain was totally gone. Amazing how much better you feel when nerve isn't being pressed by herniated disc! This was in 2017. Still going strong!
Excellent doctor. I had venticuloma meningitis. He coordinated w the infectious disease doctor seamlessly. I was treated by him as an emergency isit, but he continues to do all the follow up. Really liked his office staff as well. So glad I was sent there. He truly cares.
Surgery last week. Had leg pain to the point of not being able to stand without assistance. No leg pain now. Dr. Ryan is awesome!
The worst doctor I have ever met. My mother had fallen, and had a fractured disc. The first visit she explained severe pain in her back and legs, and her bladder had quit working, causing bladder overfill and no control, he rushed her out of the office without offering any help and told her to come back in 2 months. She dealt with the pain, non working bladder til then. This time he told her she was old and he knew of nothing he could do for for her. Worthless, rude, and don't give a damn4u.
My experience with Dr. Ryan and his office was the worst experience I've had. Not only did it take over 1 and 1/2 weeks to get the front desk to schedule an appointment (all that was required was looking at Dr. Ryan's calendar), he never called me back with the results from my MRI. I called the office every day for two weeks and never received a response. After going elsewhere, I discovered the situation was much more involved than initially thought. If you want a response, this isn't it.
I saw Dr. Ryan as a second opinion. If I hadn't, I would have ended up with back surgery for a hip problem. I have a very bad back but the problems I was having were different. He actually listened to what I was going through and said before we did anything to the back, would I get a MRI of my hip. I did and that looked like what was causing my problems. I had a hip replacement eight weeks ago and I'm back to normal. Thank you Dr. Ryan for listening to what I had to say!
Dr.Ryan did my brain surgery and I can honestly say he has changed my life for the best , I actually feel normal again , can play with my kids , do things I haven't done in 9 years I can't thank him enough and my incision that he cut to go threw has healed so good the scar is practicely unnoticeable once my hair grows no one will ever be able to tell , I was scared at first but I'm happy I did , thank u for my life back Dr. Ryan I can't says thanks enough ?? pain free from Chairi. ?? Tracy.
If you want to get a surgery based on very old (years) MRI images and take a chance of having a something removed that is no longer there then this is the place to go. Very rude.
Dr. Ryan is an amazing doctor! Always kind and helpful to answer questions and explain things. He brings you in to see your own results and seems to honestly care about your well being.
