My experience with Dr. Favazza himself was very good but I have to deduct 3 stars due to my experience with his scheduling and billing. I had pre-authorization through my insurance, but his office scheduled my appointment outside the authorized time frame. As a result, the claim was rejected by my insurance. Two calls to the billing office "we'll get back to you" and no response. I'd like to pay the negotiated rate the insurance would have paid. The account is now in collections.

One important factor is maintaining an up to date patient address, phone and billing information. It would be great if the sign in sheet had the question..." Any address or phone number changes?" "Is your insurance still the same?" I've had to report my insurance change twice but they keep billing my old insurance for payment. This should be changed in the computer when the insurance card is photocopied.
Great doctor and caring person. Listens and suggests. Easy to talk with and highly knowledgeable. Nice sense of humor. Can discuss any issue with him easily.
I have a history of stones . DR stated a ct was needed . Then was told to get an xray . I have a 7mm stone. Litho was never scheduled . I threatened to go somewhere else .Then the litho was scheduled. The day of my procedure I was told there was no stone. 7mm stone doesnt disappear. I took an xray today and guess what the stone is still there. This dr wasted my time and now I need to find a dr who will do their job.
I have been a patient for 9 years and if that doesn't say enough than add that we moved to Prescott Valley and make the trip (overnight) to Tucson rather than changing Doctors.
This office is dishonest quoted me $500 which I paid up front then I get an additional bill in the mail for $200 more for a 30 second consolation fee! Patients beware!
Prompt, knowledgeable, courteous and explained the situation very clearly. I recommend him highly and with out reservation.
