Dr Bloch billed for 30 minute sessions when they never went over 10/15 minutes. His negligence and misdiagnosis led to my hospitalization. Afterwards, I was prescribed meds that didn’t work for me. He did not listen when I expressed this. I will not recommend him to anyone.
I am grateful to have found such a great doctor who understands the many, many ways ADHD “looks” and is really trying to find the best supports for each person. He knows that different medications work for some but not others and is willing to be flexible to see what works for his patients. I have found him both thoughtful and supportive as I have worked with him for over 6 years. I have recommended him to many and encourage every patient to be specific when they describe how medications affect them- Dr. Bloch is listening..... read more
I don't agree that Dr. Ted Bloch overcharges however, he is expensive. He is an M.D., and for that, you must pay a higher price, but his prices are not out of the norm for an M.D. If you don't want a doctor, go to a Social Worker, they are cheaper. I would also say that the patients in the other reviews did not seem to inquire as to what type of therapy Ted Bloch does before complaining. I also thought Dr. Bloch presented as somewhat sterile but I brought up the issue with him and told him I thought there was a "disconnect" ... read more

I can't recommend this physician. Admittedly, the reasoning is subjective and probably for most not at all obvious in the beginning; Bloch's professional mien and style which abjures frittering the time away with extraneous psychotherapeutic musings is helpful and reassuring; some shrinks don't understand this. His knowledge of medicine is not questioned either. One of my problems - the real foci of evaluation when choosing a mental health practitioner - is that he doesn't really care about me as a patient, I feel, and is so... read more
Did you spend a lot of time in the waiting room at this provider's office? No, my appointment started at the scheduled time Did this psychiatrist answer all your questions? No, I left confused and frustrated Was this provider's office too loud? Not at all, it was very peaceful and quiet
It is obvious that their office is cleaned regularly. It was fantastic. One thing I like about them, is how easy they are to reach in an emergency. They took my call and helped me right away. They keep the restrooms well-stocked here, and not just with the basics. There is mouthwash, lotion and other amenities. You can tell they want their clients to be as comfortable as possible. I knew I was getting top-of-the-line treatment when they told me about what they learned at the latest conference they attended, and how they were... read more
Hi,years ago I posted a bad review for Ted Bloch under the name "lelales." I was ill at the time and now I realize that Ted Bloch was trying to help me. It's difficult being mentally ill and not realizing it. I have recovered over time, but still take mdicine for my mental illness. I appreciate Ted Bloch's assistance and treatments. It must difficult to treat someone who does not realize they are ill. Ted is a good doctor. I apologize for my bad review on him. I was really ill at the time, but was in denial. I think Ted Bloc... read more
