I had a rare (1 in 300 million) malignant tumor in my heart causing a heart attack May 2016. After most of the tumor was surgically removed at UMMC, I was referred to Dr Khansur at VAMC Jackson, MS for follow-up care to treat me for remaining cancer tissue. Dr Khansur placed me on an experimental immunotherapy protocol after extensive testing to try to defeat remaining cancer cells still inside my heart, left lung and left rib area.
