Dr. Patel treated my "old style" Telapravir/interferon/ribavirin treatment like a "study", which I thought was a bit strange at first. Weekly appointments, but I grew to appreciate the consistent monitoring it gave me. Very knowledgeable - I'd recommend him.
I would definitely recommend Dr. Patel for any ID issues. He has very calm, pleasing manners. He has taken care of me for about 3 months now and He has been able to treat my infection and keep it under control successfully.

I met Dr Patel as a patient in University Hospital. Was pleased with treatment, he visited often. As an out patient I was totally disgusted with his staff, would not return calls, but the worst was the office itself. For an infectious disease office I expected cleanliness , just the opposite I have never in my life went to any Dr.s office so nasty. When I left there I felt unclean and went straight to my car to use a sanitizer. I just thank God I was able to do my infusions at home.
