Dr Belsare and staff are amazing. Dr Belsare truly listens to what I have to say. I enjoy my interactions with the doctor and her team. 5 star!!!!!

She is by far the best I've ever used. Effective, with amazingly fast results!
I have seen many mental health doctors in our area and Dr. Belsare truly cares about you as a person and works with you as a team to diagnose and find a treatment that helps you feel better. Has helped me more than the other docs I've seen Over past 10 years with regards to PTSD, schizophrenia and addiction.
It's either her way or the highway. She is not willing to go the extra mile for her patients and does not listen to them. I've never been to a worse psychiatrist who would rather let her patients suffer than prescribe them what they need. What a total and complete waste of time it was visiting her. If you want a doctor that literally abandons their patients this is the psychiatrist for you. She has very little experience so perhaps that's why she does not understand how to deal with patients.

I disagree, JK. While I cannot respond with specifics here, my general practices include: not prescribing controlled substances at higher than recommended doses unless absolutely necessary and not prescribing medications that are producing severe adverse side effects - such as an inability to carry out major role obligations (such as work, school, relationships). I honestly can not ethically do what a client might wish me to do, if it is not in that client's best interest. Be well.
