I had back surgery back in 1972, always watched my back. Well time takes it's toll. Re-injured my lower back April 2020. I knew what was wrong so I immediately made an appointment with Dr Daftari. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Daftari and his surgical staff for preforming my surgery. I had a badly herniated disc. I had tried all non surgical options to eliminate the excruciating pain I was experiencing. When nothing worked Dr Daftari agreed that a discectomy and laminectomy would be the surgery to relieve my pain. He explained what the surgery would entail in detail. I had been having spine issues for 9+ years. Pain became intolerable. After a diagnosis of severe stenosis and scoliosis, I chose RESURGENS Orthopedics and Dr Tapan Daftari for surgery. Was stoked to see Dr. Daftari after reading some of his “great” reviews. I have been dealing with lower back pain for 10+ years (and I’m only in my 20’s). He was anything but helpful, did not seem to listen or care about anything I was saying. Very arrogant. Paid all this money for X-ray, MRI and other M.D. visits just to get to him and see what the next steps were...all to end up at a dead end. He didn’t seem to care one bit. Absolutely terrible.
He is a wonderful listener and very thorough in his work. Also a fabulous Surgeon. His specialty is back surgery. I am up and around and after 9 months Feel no pain and can walk far far more without any pain. I highly recommend Dr Daftari.
I have seen Dr Daftari a few times over the last 2 yrs for 2 different issues. He resolved those issues quickly and effectively. Dr Daftari and his entire staff was so supportive and so caring and gave me the courage to overcome my fear and get through my procedures without a hitch. Surgery was a huge success. This Dr and his team are the best. Words can not explain how this team has changed my life. I feel like I can conquer the world now. I went in not knowing wether I would get my life back. I feel sooooo much better and truly wish he had been the one I was referred to the first time. Staff is phenomenal. Great. I had a L3 L4 fusion performed. Just after five weeks out of surgery I feel better than i have in 10 to 15 years. Able to walk and move with ease. Have feeling again in legs and feet that i was loosing. I would reccomend Dr. Daftari and his team at Resurgens Orthopaedics of Ga to anyone with spinal problems.
For the first time since 2011, I am pain free. Its is all due to the expertise of Dr Taftari and his phenomenal team.
