Dr. Tanya Tan was professional, thoughtful, and listened to me thoroughly. She was affirming of my size and identity. The office was clean and well-organized.
I was rushed in and out of the office on my first visit. Dr. Tan did not ask me questions about my family history or about my diet and exercise habits. I was not given the opportunity to ask questions about my health. Had she asked me any of those questions she wouldn't have shamed me upon receiving lab results that are tied to hereditary conditions. Dr Tan was not very friendly. The appointment felt very rushed and she didn’t seem to care about my needs. She gave me a referral which to me meant she barely listened to my concerns and just pawned me off on someone else. I will not go back.
