Dr Chodri is a good doctor but his office is a non stop bumper car ride of patients waiting to be seen for vitals, then again to see the doctor. Although he is very nice and competent because of the extreme influx of patients his demeanor is rushed and the same is true with his nurses again very nice but very hard to talk to without having to wait for a call back. In short this office is way too busy and as a result the patient unfortunately suffers.
On April 13 2023. I took my 83 year old Mom to get help for her breathing. Her pulse ox had fallen very low the night before and I wanted to get her on oxygen for night time. They said they would have to do a test called the 6 min walk. Instead of doing the 6 min walk right then. They made an appt for the next day to do the test. 6 min walk test, mind you. Well my Mom died that night. I blame them.
Had an appointment Thursday and arrived at 8:45 for a 9:00 appointment. Went up to door and it was locked but saw several women sitting in the office where you sign in. Sign said open 8:30 so waited outside and no response. These individuals saw me as I rattled the door several times. Finally at 9:05 knocked on the door. Finally a woman came to the door and said appointments were else where today? No one ever contacted me so how was I supposed to know that. On 1 visit I waited over a hour in the exam room with his staff telling me he would be in shortly. Later a staff member told me that he was actually on his way to the office and would see me soon. I got up,expressed my concerns and left. On another occasion I was actually in the hospital surgery area , prepared for him and he was over a hour away. The nursing staff couldn’t do anything but wait with me. I’m changing to a different provider.
This is a very unorganized practice that has no value for patient's time! We live in Jamestown and drove 25 minutes to this clinic in Asheboro. My wife and I were lead to the examination room. The nurse (?) came and took the vital signs and performed a breathing test. We waited for 75 minutes but no doctor. I walked to the front desk and asked when will the doctor see my wife. She had no idea and said that he has gone to the other building to perform a procedure. We waited another 15 minutes and walked out. What a waste of d... read more
