Dr. Miller consulted on my medical situation while I was hospitalized (so I have never seen her in the office setting). I found her to be very hurried and unprofessional. I feel that her knowledge base for my acute neurological problem was very limited and coupled with her not looking at all the data available to her re: my status, resulted in her misdiagnosing my condition. I would not voluntarily see her again nor would I recommend her to anyone. Perhaps she is more knowledgeable and professional in an outpatient setting.
I think the people here who gave Dr. Miller a bad rating have a negative attitude and take no responsibility for their part of their own care. I have seen her for years for Multiple Sclerosis and she is the best doctor I have ever had. She actually sits down, and looks me in the eye when talking. She is empathetic and does NOT rush. Went to her after going to ER for severe migraine.She wrote me 5 prescriptions in 5 minutes, had no interest in my medical records, rushed me and seemed very jumpy and nervous. I became very ill and extremely dizzy from meds. She told me to drink more water when i called her and told her my face was numb and I could not stand up due to the dizzyness.Took a family member with on next visit and saw the same disregard. Got better results from a nurse practitioner at Family Med
One of the most arrogant "Doctors" I've ever encountered. She showed a complete disregard for and disdain for the syptoms I was having. She seemed to have a "Swiss Army Knife" approach to medicine. One medications fits all. There's NO way I'd allow her any where near me with a scalpel. Avoid at all costs!
I have chronic semicranial migraines and dr miller is never with out hope that something might work even though much is not known about these types of migraines. She is in touch with other physicians that can assist her and is not afraid to answer with a "I dont know, but we can try this" or find out. She is also able to keep me more comfortable by suggestions on how to deal with the pain and even was able to get me enrolled in a pain clinic to find out more about them. Useless. Ran a couple of MRI's. Couldn't diagnose me. Left me to suffer. (I had to go to another neurologist to get decent treatment - I had encephalitis). Dr. Miller then told me I was no longer welcome as a patient as I owed them $100. Then she hounded me through bond companies to pay up. She is the single worst example of a heartless doctor that I have ever encountered.
Was ok and gungho at first, then put me on percocet for headaches and treated me as a junkie when it was her lack of communication that caused the whole mess up. I wouldn't rec her.
