My husband and I had a great experience he was nice and explained everything so we could understand
If I could give 0 stars, I would. He told me that I was too young to be in pain. He was extremely rude and dismissive of my health concerns. Even his staff is very rude.
Would give no stars if could. Worse doctor ever! Must have graduated at the bottom of his class in med school. Saw him for a nerve conduction test on my hands/arms. He talked with his back to me and he doesn't speak english clearly. I had trouble hearing what he was saying and couldn't understand him. This neurologist is the only one that comes to Stormont Vail Clinic here in Emporia. Ks. Most in this field check reflexes, look at medical history, and ask for input from the patient with each visit. Don't expect any of that from this physician, and like the other reviews his staff is rude. My primary physician has done most of the work that this doctor should be doing. Emporia Kansas needs a better neurologist, one that actually cares about the welfare of the patients.
The nurse wasn't friendly at all. She seemed annoyed to be doing her job. Dr. Zhao was a huge joke. He wouldn't listen to me at all. Every time I tried to tell him my medical history, he would cut me off. He doesn't care about patients and their health. He tried to prescribe me a medication I'm allergic to and it's in my medical file! So after that experience, I have zero trust in Dr. Zhao's ability as a doctor.
I am a long time patient of Dr. Zhao’s. He has treated and adjusted the treatment of my chronic headaches to my satisfaction. He always goes above and beyond to get to the core of what is causing a medical condition. He also asks if there are any other concerns before he ends the visit. His nurses is very helpful in processing insurance referrals. I highly recommend Dr. Zhao.
We were not super impressed. Short, sweet appt. but didn't learn much. Had an MRI and received a form letter with results. I expected a call from Dr. Zhao or his nurse regarding the MRI but that didn't happen.
Does not allow patient input and ignors referring physicians notes. Nurse attitude leaves much to be desired if you express non satisfaction with Zhao.
I called the Dr. office to schedule an appointment for my husband and to get his prescription of Donepezil refilled. The nurse in the office, said that he was suppose to have a follow up appt. one month after his initial appt. in 2015. She said, "Obviously you don't keep your appts. or you don't care." I informed her that I was not aware of the follow up appt., and that I do care about my husband's health. She then refilled the prescription and made in appt. for November. Not a good attitude.
