possibly the worst "physician" I have ever seen. Belittle my son told to lose weight, said did believe his symptoms, asked repeatedly why he was lying to him rude and disrespectful to me. I'm 60 now, and seen my share of doctors, and told me to shut up and sit down and to quit smoking. He is a disgrace to the medical perfession
Dr Shams is a Sham. He loses his temper, yells, becomes frustrated, argues----all the traits a physician should avoid if possible. He should retire, or is it early Alzheimer's???? He runs a Methadone clinic at his office once a week and therefore is suspicious of any patient who has pain issues. His Medical Asst is an Angel and deserves better. Other office staff has been rude, condescending and argumentative. Guess they have a good role model. Avoid this Dr.
I had my first appointment today with Doctor Shams. Although he did not come off as very friendly I did my best to lighten the mood by being cheerful and funny. Doctor Shams did lighten up a little after that. The other reviewers were not wrong to say that he was a little hard to understand, but I was happy that he did not seem to rush out of the room like previous Doctors. This doctor is not should be a doctor. He never wash his hands and never talks to you. He insulted me pointing to sit to the chair because I can contaminate him (sore throat). This doctor has personal problems. He has an obvious anger issue Towards everyone. He does not like than you ask questions, to do lab works nor does annual check-ups like X-rays, pelvic ultrasounds, nor referrals to the specialists. Staff is good compared to other places I've been, however it's important for you to ask questions because if you don't you won't know what to do next. If your health problems or questions are simple and straight forward, and you know what you want, this doctor may be for you. If you have complex or changing health issues, don't know about how your insurance works, or want to take your treatment in a different route be prepared for a frustrating challenge. This doctor has personal problems. He does not like doing lab work nor does he like giving medications. He has an obvious anger issue Towards everyone. His MA and office staff know more than he does. This is unbelievable but he has ordered test unwillingly and has lied about the outcome verified by Pinnacle Urgent care. His English is broken and you can barely be understood.
