Dr. Asad and his staff are great. I am glad that God lead me to Dr. Asad. I have seizures and tremors that are felt inside my body. I can feel the tremors but they are not seen on the out side of my body. I started having seizures in 2002 knowing. I have told many doctors about the tremors but they had no idea what they were or were they came from. Dr. Asad was able to stop these tremors. I thank God for this Neurologist. He is very dedicated and caring. May God continue many blessings to this Neurologist and his wonderful s... read more
Dr. Asad is the best neurologist in North Florida. He is compassionate and understanding. He has extensive knowledge and provides the utmost in care to his patients. He diagnosed me with one of the world's rarest brain diseases 5 years ago and directed me to the life-saving surgery I needed out in Standofrd, CA. He orchestrated my follow up care with all my doctors locally and ensured the post surgical protocol was followed appropriately. I am forever grateful to Dr. Asad and his staff. He is extremely patient and even thoug... read more
Now that Dr. Asad has is own practice he attends to patients on time and is extremely compassionate.
Mom saw the Dr. after months of dealing with burning feet. Dr.Asad is so busy typing notes on his laptop that he doesnt HEAR what you say. Also, does not read charts and walks in totally on the cuff. They drew 16 vials of blood first visit to rule out that area.No wonder it takes 45 minutes in a visit since he has to type and ask some of the same questions as prior visit. You wait sometimes 2 hours.Nerve scan came back negative. He said it could be "small fiber" neuropathy that doesnt show on a nerve conduction. But he didn't ... read more
I haaaad an appt for a follow-up on a stenois to the brain and in walks a pa whose name is Mike. I first asked him why they had scheduled me for a ct scan with no reason. His answer was because I had lung cancer. He advised me to give him a minute he had not had a chance to really read my file. Dr. Asad was right next door in anothe room. This Mike dude was matter of fact, he thought I already knew, how would I have know. They're the one's with the records. I was totally blindsitted. You would think first of all he would kno... read more
going to this doctor was a big mistake. I waited over 2.5 hours, then was told they couldn't find my paperwork. spent hundreds and ended up with no treatment plan for injuries, saw a PA not the doctor. the claim filing routine is so incompetent that I am now spending more useless time struggling to make sure all charges were billed to my insurance. avoid this practice, big waste of $ and time.
Staff at OP office is highly disorganized. Waited 1 hr past appt. time w/no reason given. I took a lot of tests to r/out MS, but never given a diagnosis. I'm now looking for another Neuro to get a 2nd opinion.
