We've taken our four kids to Dr Roy for many years. One of the things I like about her is that she's not afraid to not prescribe when it's not needed. So often, doctors feel like they have to give you "something"and if the body will heal just as well on its own, I think that's better. When my daughter was prepping for back surgery, she was having trouble passing some of the health screenings, particularly with oxygenation. The pulmonary and other specialists couldn't fix it, but Dr Roy did.

She is brusque & abrupt. Not good traits for a pediatrician. Does not wash her hands (you must insist - and then she complies but seems offended). She's reluctant to refer to a specialist even when she has no clue what the problem is -- even if your child has been suffering it long-term. She discourages urgent care visits, yet will not handle emergency calls or hours! Her receptionist is rather cold. They're very reluctant to release medical records. We dropped her. Should have fled much earlier

This doctor is terrible, I have 2 VERY long years of her being the doctor to my children and finally switched to a new doctor today. She was extremely inexperienced to deal with my daughters broken arm, thank goodness for the specialists. When one of my children had lice she was unable to even get a prescription approved and call me once it was, I eventually ended up trying every method possible and cleared the lice alone.
