Dr. Suying L. Song, MD is a Doctor that is genuine and result driven. I summarize my experience as follows: 1. Knowledgeable (absolutely skillful in her field) 2. Determine to find the Root cause (Eliminate what if's and locate what is) 3. Action Plan (Partners with you on the way forward) It's hard to believe that such a doctor exists. In fact, we may all feel that we've experienced the good and the not so good yet Dr. Song is the exception of good, undoubtedly. Here's my story... I was referred by my primary physician to D... read more

Dr song has been treating me for 18 years. I have MS. She is compassionate, extremely knowledgeable and cares about her patients. I REFERRED MY FRIEND TO HER WHO HAS A SEIZURE CONDITION WHO HAD SEEN MULTIPLE SEIZURE DOCTORS YET WAS HAVING SEIZURES AT LEAST ONCE A MONTH. Since going to Dr Song she has been seizure free for 3 years.

Worst Dr. ever. My sister also saw her in agony. We later found she needed a hip replacement. Dr Song said she was fine doing an exam while chatting on the phone. I found Dr. Song to be incredibly rude. She personally went into the waiting room and took patients who she liked ahead of patients who had been waiting hours. Avoid this incompetent rude mess.

The staff are excellent except for the front desk people, they are so rude. Dr. Song is an excellent provider, but if she doesn't do something soon she's going to be losing a lot of patients. I think that's why a family member of mine didn't go to her. Dr. Song's loss.

ALSO BE CAREFUL WITH DIAGNOSIS! I went to Dr. Song in 2011 for a tickle in my legs and right arm. After my EEG and MRI she diagnosed me with Temporal Lobe Epilepsy. After getting a second opinion in October 2014 at a major hospital in Manhattan, and spending 4 days at their epilepsy unit, my new neurologist said I have Panic Disorder. He also said he worked with her and she tell everyone that they have epilepsy!

BE CAREFUL OF DIAGNOSIS! For years I suffered from vertigo with internal shaking. Dr. Song diagnosed me with having seizures, treated me with different meds, including Keppra which made me very mean. One day I had her associate check me out. Said I NEVER had seizures, he saw my report and signed off that it WASNT seizures. My new neurologist guessed that she diagnosed me with seizures. When asked how did you know? he laughed and said she seems to tell everyone they have seizures. Apparently other doctors found out bc my prim... read more

Dr. Song is a smart and talented doctor who truly listens. Twice in my life she figured out what was wrong when countless other doctors/specialists missed it. When she suspected something in my ("normal" on the report) MRI she picked up the phone and asked the radiologist to review the film again. The amended report matched what she had suspected. I agree that the front desk staff is awful, but the woman who records the EEG is great. Dr. Song is on time unless she tells an emergency to come in. I've been that emergency perso... read more
