On my first visit I found her to be rather cold, and unfriendly, very business like, not at all like most Drs. in Grass Valley. My follow up visits however, I found her to be friendly, interested and helpful.
Dr. Greenwald is agressive, rude, condescending. Here is my experience, mind you I've condensed it ALOT We have been to her about 5 times, my husband had a Stroke about 14 years ago, he's now having new issues. At each appt. I was left feeling confused, upset and stupid, not only from her lack of bedside manner but because she never took the time to really talk to us. Terrible bedside manner.Never asked me important questions like "how are you feeling?" or "are your symptoms improving?". When I would volunteer this info, she paid no attention. I told her I was diabetic on my first 2 visits. On the 3rd, she asked if I might be diabetic. ??? When I got a copy of the notes she had been keeping, she had referred to me as Daniel. Dr Greenawald treated my spouse for an essential tremor in 2013. She is smart, observant and professional in her diagnosis and treatment suggestions; taking into account other non-neurological symptoms/treatments that one may be undergoing. Her no-nonsense approach may be why some reviewers cite her as coming across as "rude". I highly recommend her.
Our teenage daughter was a patient of Dr. Greenawald's for a short time. She is rude and condescending and has no desire to hear what her patients are experiencing. Instead she dismisses any concerns you may have and tells you that she is much more intelligent then you because (as she points at her wall of degrees) "I went to Harvard Medical".
