ThIs practice is stretched thin and shouldn't be accepting new patients. This doctor has a very long wait time to be seen and their practice seems to be to not let anyone see the doctor on a regular basis, but a nurse practitioner. They are also an established teaching location for NSU medical students. This takes away a lot of one on one attention and questions are repeated and answers are sometimes misunderstood by staff. Dr. Lechtenstein is an exceptionally caring physician whom I highly recommend. She consistently takes the time to listen and is very thorough in her approach, making sure all questions and concerns are addressed. Her kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail make me feel genuinely cared for as a patient, and I always feel confident in the care I receive from her.
Worst doctor experience I ever had! She was uncaring, condescending, rushed, made me feel as though I didn’t know what I was talking about and pressured me into saying things she wanted to know. I would never return to this office or any practice that she worked at. Please be aware!
I am extremely disappointed. As a former patient of Dr. L I referred a dear friend that really needs a new PCP. First appointment she was told the Dr was out of the country and they would try to squeeze her in with someone else. She said no she wanted to meet and see Dr L to see if they were a match. Rescheduled way down the road and she went yesterday to be told her appointment was canceled. No reasons and no heads up phone call.
