I went to OB-GYN Associates for a Saline Infused Sonography (SIS). The staff were excellent but my experience with Dr. Zhang was traumatizing. During the SIS, she was experiencing difficulties getting the catheter in properly, which was causing a lot of pain. I told her maybe we should stop and just end with the ultrasound results we already had. Instead, she said she was going to clamp my cervix. She's no nonsense, great bedside manner, listens and takes action, and she did my bilateral salpingectomy with next to no pain post-op. She's amazing.
I waited 1 hour and 5 minutes to be seen. No apologies or explanation whatsoever about the one hour of waiting after my scheduled time. My charts said I suffer from anxiety and depression and she had the most cruel comments to me. I was extremely surprised she had zero empathy for a doctor especially with the comments and look of disapproval. It was my first and last visit with this doctor. Dr. Zhang and her staff are outstanding. Both my daughter and I have received professional and caring services. I highly recommend Dr. Zhang. She is a wonderful Doctor and I wouldn't trust myself or my family to anyone else.
I had Dr Zhang for all 3 pregnancies. She is calmed my nerves but also is very matter of fact. When you deal with infertility patients I cannot imagine all the questions she receives.
