Today was an extremely stressful day in this whole process. It's a Saturday and my wife and I were feeling very overwhelmed. I called the nurse hotline to get a few questions answered that were much more suited for the doctor. When I switched from another reproductive clinic to Shady Grove, I went from being just another patient chart to an individual patient with personalized care. Dr. K goes out of her way to make you feel confident in your treatment plan and to explain as many details and answer as many questions as she can. Wow! There are many positive words to say about Dr. Kulshrestha. To begin, her bedside manners are just what is needed when one comes in with an infertility problem. Sometimes I feel I am looked at and treated like an alien because I'm unable to conceive as easily as others. I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. K. From the first consultation through suffering a miscarriage after a successful IUI, she has made me feel like I'm not just another patient. She always takes time to offer advice based on her experience and knowledge, listens to my questions and concerns, and makes a point to find the positive in the struggle of trying to conceive. My husband and I are so thankful that we found Dr. K. She has by far exceeded our expectations in regards to patient care and professionalism. She goes out of her way to be flexible, even after hours, to be there for you with any questions, explanation of results or answers that may apply. We have been nothing but pleased with every part of our experiences at Shady Grove. Dr. K is encouraging, empathetic, patient, and kind. She took her time with us at both meetings, answering all questions and explaining everything thoroughly. She even called personally after my results came in to explain them and made sure I went to eat lunch prior to blood work since I have a history of fainting. Couldn't say enough good things about Dr. K!
Shady Grove has offered the best medical care I have ever received. Dr. K is very personable, and helpful. She even calls me her self at home at times to fill me in on my treatment plan. She has taken the time to review my case and develop the plan that is right for me. I couldn't expect anything more from her or her team.
I had the best experience with Dr. K! She took a lot of time with my husband and I to explain where we were at and what the next steps would be, including all of the details of those steps. She was very friendly, knowledgeable, and patient with all of our questions. I immediately knew that we were in good hands. Also, every experience at Shady Grove Fertility ever since that initial consultation has been wonderful with short wait times, quickness of scheduling appointments, and a friendly and caring staff.
Dr. K is just great! She's very informative but made sure we understood every part of this whole process. She's always very positive and encouraging.
