From the initial contact to attempting to sign in for an appointment the office manager was demeaning and condescending to the point that I just cancelled the appointment and left. The required intake forms basically accuse the patient of doctor shopping or pill mill by their nature. The woman handed the 15 page document back to me one page at a time with errors and omissions highlighted. The forms asked for the same information 3 to 5 times and must be signed and witnessed. Dr. Panchal looks at his patients with dollar signs in his eyes. He nearly had me driving to his office with a $5000 check saying that insurance doesn’t cover the procedure that I need. Thankfully I contacted my insurance provider again and was told that they cover 85% of it. The doctor’s assistant said that it’s because they have a hard time getting them to pay afterward. I’ve been going to Dr. Panchal, off and on, for years. I’m seeing him again for back pain. I like him a lot. I’ve never had a problem with his not explaining things clearly. I’ll admit his office staff is problematic, generally not knowledgeable, disorganized, and has high turnover. But that has nothing to do with Dr. Panchal’s abilities. He is an excellent doctor.
I first saw Dr. Panchal regarding my Arachnoiditis that had been causing severe pain since January 2019. He came highly recommended by a doctor from the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio and I trusted this recommendation. However, Dr. Panchal has a TERRIBLE bedside manner and is rude and dismissive to his patients. My first injection he kept me waiting over 1 1/2 hours (for no particular reason ... other than he considers himself a King on his own self-imagined throne). No, would not recommend, horrible experience. Very rude and unnoticeable doctor...did not even get me out say hello when he walked in. Very condescending and he didn't even know me. Can't I give no star? Dr. Sunil Panchal was a complete jerk! I visited 7 doctors before meeting Dr. Panchal. No one could help with my lower back pain. After years of futile and expensive shots, I met Dr. Panchal. His calm demeanor and medical expertise allowed me to live a normal life again. I cannot express my gratitude for the care I received with Dr. Panchal.
I was a patient for over 10 years and never felt that I was getting anything but the best possible care available. The only reason I stopped seeing him was because I moved out of the area.
If you want an actual skilled doctor and not a gimmick, Dr. Pamchalis that doctor. I struggled with migraines for almost two decades. I went through years of various treatments. Nothing helped and I gave up. I learned to cope with the pain. I met Dr. Panchal, he treated me and my headaches are gone. I have sent my parents and friends to him to be treated. All have had the same successful experience as me.
