I would rate with no stars if that was possible.. Visited Dr. Cheekati back in 2017 and after being somewhat dismissed by her, I moved on to a differenc PCP at Emory. Here we are in 2026 and I recently found out I have advanced Osteoporosis.. Looking back at my chart I see my Vitamin D level was so well below the normal level. Where do I begin? I had to wait 4 months for a “new” patient appointment with this recommended physician and she never listened to a thing I said. If she had she never would have issued referrals for procedures I told her were already scheduled. Besides, I have Medicare not Medicare Advantage and don’t need referrals. When I told her I had been hospitalized with a bacterial infection in May she put on a mask( I was never contagious) and told me I was spelling the condition improperly. Wrong.
