Dr. Shindel provides excellent care w/ compassion. I brought my 87-year old mom to the ER at St. Mary’s the morning after Christmas where she was diagnosed with appendicitis. Dr. Shindel was her surgeon. His communication about the procedure and what to expect was really clear and delivered with compassion and humor. He quickly put my mom (and us) at ease and inspired confidence. His post-care in the hospital was equally excellent. He obviously cares about his patients and is very good at what he does.
