I had a biopsy on my uterus last year after the surgery. I noticed my private parts started to smell like fish which I’ve never had before. I went back to the doctor and explain my concern. I went with Dr. Pancer for an annual check up. Turned out I was misdiagnosed with HPV. The sample taken was not sufficient! I went to my old obgyn out of concern of the findings and the lack of concern by Emory. Regular procedure is to get a colposcopy.They said it wasn't needed at the time. My pap smear was repeated and the HPV was NEGATIVE! You can make your own conclusions. I am quite disappointed at Emory. Patients deserve better preventative treatment. I had a terrible experience with Dr. Pancer when he delivered my second child. I was a patient of the Atlanta Birth Center and was supposed to deliver there under the care of a midwife. I started having contractions 7 min apart at 5am and by 5:15am my water broke and I felt the urge to push. My midwife advised me to go to the nearest hospital, which was Emory Decatur Hospital.
