My issue stems not from the doctor, but his billing practices. I was charged for the office visit, and an endoscopy and a "mystery" charge. It is listed as a minor procedure, but it turns out to be a "facility" charge. They charge you to walk into the practice. This charge was equal to the other two combined...$398. This is a highly unusual practice and one a caution others to avoid.
He is one of the best sinus doctors I’ve ever been to for my sinuses. He operated on my right side and then did emergency surgery on me. At that time he had an emergency in his own family but he didn’t let that stop him from saving my life. Their is no better sinus doctor than Dr. KOUNTAKIS.
