I saw Dr. Kerr for a cut tendon in the tip of my finger. He should have referred me to a hand specialist for an urgent surgery. In my appointment. Dr.Kerr said there was no solution for me being able to straighten my finger again and if I chose surgery I would lose some mobility closing my finger as well. I immediately left to OPA in Anchorage to see a hand specialist instead. The day after my walk in at OPA, they got me to meet with a specialist into surgery that day and I’m expected to re gain full mobility.
Dr. Kerr is arrogant and condescending. He spoke to my spouse 80% more than me, the actual patient, for the duration of the appointment. I had to keep trying to get his attention to even look at me at me so I could bring up my concerns and questions, which he ignored or side-lined. I have been dealing with major back pain since a surgery with complications 18 months ago. Kerr’s the worst doctor I’ve been to so far. He’s rude and fails to perform his duties as a doctor. My advice, go to a small practice where the doctors care about you and your business.
