In around 2003 I was having unspecified problems with my right eye - it was as if sand was growing over it. Extremely painful and all forms of treatment was inadequate. I had to contact Dr Wiffen one Saturday evening and he left a dinner party and opened up the institute to provide urgent care. He subsequently removed the conjunctiva on two occasions. Such wonderful care from start to finish. Dr Wiffen restored my vision after a pseudomonas infection and deep ulcer in my eye. I was blind for a month. I will be eternally grateful to Dr Wiffen. Worst consult ive had with a specialist.He was so rude.Still waiting for my referral from him nearly a month on.Avoid him at all cost.If i new he was like this would have never have went to see him.
