"Welcome home bedside manner" is what comes to mind when I think of Dr Steven Smith. His humility, wit and forthrightness is super refreshing. This man has no airs about him, he actually looks you in the eye and makes you feel like your concerns really matter, no rush. He wasn't our first choice but he was the best choice hands down , we have zero regrets. He doesn't get the kudos he deserves because of his humility. My family thanks you from the bottom of our hearts. Our unsung hero.
Dr Smith was one of three doctors i have that has the #1 bedside manner ive ever experienced. When going for inpatient surgery he saw me in postoperative he made me laugh and very comfortable in his hands. After surgery and in morning very great sense of humor and i could not say anyone ive had for surgery has a better bedside manner. Thank you Dr Smith

I was referred to Dr. Smith by my Dermatologist after a melanoma diagnosis on my right arm and an atypical lesion on my upper back. Fortunately the melanoma was 100% treatable and caught early. I was so nervous at my consultation but Dr. Smith immediately put me at ease. On the day of my outpatient procedure, Dr. Smith was warm, funny and explained everything. Right before I was put to sleep, I felt a reassuring hand and it was him. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
My skull plate had collapsed causing me excruciating pain for 6 months until Dr. Smith worked tirelessly to remove all the pieces that he could. He was the first person to recognize the issue at hand. He showed concern, confidence and humor to top it off. Dr. Smith has changed my life and I will be forever grateful to him!
Dr Smith came recommended to me and I trusted the doctor with the recommendation, however I was never so disappointed in a doctor in my life as I am or was with Dr Smith. He has no bedside manner whatsoever, did not listen to me at all and just kept telling me this is the way it should be and the would looks good and when it didn't, his next step was to do more surgery and put an implant in my chest not even mentioning the fact that maybe the horrible infection I was getting needed to be dealt.
