They used to be good - they are now terrible!! Lie about procedures needed, a few rude staff,, say you are paid then send erroneous bills in the mail. all about the money and one up personship.
Have used Dr. Grossman for many years with no problems.
I am a retired 72 year old line-of-duty disabled NY City firefighter and was a satisfied patient of Dr. Grossman for at least 10 years.... until recently. I am covered by my insurance (Healthplex) and my wife's (Delta Dental). That was always enough to pay for bridges, crowns and all procedures. When I saw their billing person after the consultation I was told that my insurance covered it and that was that. My son had a root cancal done by this dentist and thne it infected. Instead of seeing him he let my son suffer for 4 days. 4 days and 6 phone calls later he finally saw him and then said "I didn't realize it was this bad". He was immediatley sent to an oral surgeon 90 miles away to have the tooth removed. How can a dentist be so uncaring and uncompassionate to let someone suffer that long and not see him??????!!!!!!!! Horrible horrible man!!

Dr. Steve has been my dentist for over12 years and I think that besides being a excellent dentist he has the friendliest personality I've ever seen in a doctor. He makes going to the dentist almost a pleasure.
When I started going to Dr Steve I had such a phobia and severe anxiety about dentists. I had a lot of work done over the years but would not have been able to continue if it weren't for their compassion and understanding . I can truly say that they saved my life.
I lost a filling on the back side of a front tooth. The lighting was just horrible in the room where dentistry is done. He left it so rough with such a wad of material that I felt I had a piece of sticky white bread stuck there and my tongue hurt from rubbing against it. I had to go back and he took it down a bit but still rough. Another office smoothed it to blend like it should have been done in the first place. I won't got back to that office.
Most procedures done by staff instead of dentist. Dentist often not available to answer questions Office staff rude on occasion. New denture took 6 months to make.
