Dr. Nathan took care of my husband for the last two years. When my husband needed him the most we were told to go to the nearest emergency room and we never heard back from his practice. My husband passed away last week and I feel that Dr. Nathan is only interested in writing papers and conducting clinical trials. His practice is detached and uncaring when you need them the most.
I have been a patient at the INOVA Transplant Clinic for 5 years now. I have an advanced interstitial Lung Disease which was brought on by a rare disease called Polymyositis. Many doctors don't even know what that is. I needed to be under the best care that I could with doctors who are working with the latest research and knowledge to take care of me. This is the worst medical office I have ever dealt with. Getting an appointment is a job in itself. You never get through and if you do no matter how much you beg they do not call you back. Bottom line, they just don't care.
This is the best hospital in the area. They have all the specialists in one location. Patients are treated with respect and honesty. I've been to others in the area. They are more than happy to run any test they can justify but it all comes down to the money. INOVA never mentions cost, bills or wonders if insurance will cover test. It's all handled by staff and allows patient to concentrate on getting well. Love this place for any medical treatment. Willing to drive 45 minutes longer to be treated by professionals!
