Excellent experience with Dr. Cohen. He took the initial time necessary (much more than I expected, actually) to get a complete picture of what was happening, and took ALL medical factors into consideration before making a recommendation. The ultimate plan of action was arrived at as a team, with none of the “me doctor, you patient, you will do what I say” kind of stuff. Very personable, kind, gentle, and willing to explain everything in a way that can be clearly understood. Highly recommend!
The staff were rude and provided inaccurate information about where to buy the supplies the doctor said were needed. The doctor made me feel like a fool for believing what his staff told me. My insurance was billed a sky high amount for a visit that was very short and unhelpful. I wouldn't go back there if my life depended on it.

Dr Cohen has been my Gastroenterologist for a fair number of years. He is a wonderful caring doctor and a very nice person. I highly recommend him.
My husband was in an emergency and I was very happy to find Dr. Skoff. His credentials (BIDMC for years, instructor at Harvard Medical School,MD and residency at Yale Medical School) impressed me very much. He is in private practice close by but we would have gone to him elsewhere. We were glad to avoid the bureaucracy and stress of a hospital. Dr. Skoff was calm and unhurried, explained clearly, listened intently. His treatment took my husband's difficult medical history seriously.

I had both Carpal Tunnel release operations and a ganglion cyst removal done by Dr. Hillel Skoff, over a 3 month span. After each surgery I was back to work with in 2 days. Dr. Skoff thoroughly explains what he is going to do, how you will feel and the recuperation time needed. He answers all questions and concerns. Highly competent skilled surgeon. It is now 5 months later and I can barely see the scar on either hand, the incision was made on a crease line, on the inside of my wrists.
He has treated me for tennis elbow and a bulging disc (c5, c6) with nerve root compression. Very knowledgeable and got to diagnosis quickly. He explains the issues clearly and his treatment plans, even if there may be some uncertainties always help me know what to expect. He has cured me if a lot of pain and I'm grateful.
Doctor's staff is rude, abrupt. Not patient friendly office at all. Seemed more interested in collecting their fees than treating patients.
