Dr. Chang is the BEST of the BEST! He is wisely conservative when it comes to surgical need, even when meeting him personally years prior to my acute injury had said I was the type of patient he prefers never to do surgery upon. I’m so grateful he was willing to perform my surgery despite the increased risk. With that injury, despite my genetic condition, he agreed and advised the life saving surgery. Well where do I begin Dr. Steve Chang did my emergency surgery on my back nearly 8 years ago. I have roughly a 12 inch scar right down the center of my back. I have thought of getting a zipper tattoo. That’s NOT going to happen. It’s a perfect straight line why bother especially when I do not see if very often. He is not just an amazing performing surgeon but also compassionate. He gives the patient and their family comfort. We are extremely lucky that he was our sons surgeon.
I called this office to make an appointment and it was very difficult to get them to answer the phone. Finally Sue answered the phone and she made it impossible to make an appointment. I had cervical surgery (fusion ) at banner health 18 months ago. Sue tells me because it’s not recent that I cannot see Dr yang that first I would need to see a pain specialist and get a referral otherwise I cannot make an appointment.
