I appreciate Dr Tattersall’s experience advice, however when I moved to a different gastroenterologist I found I got better long term results with no complications. I did find I had to keep going back to Dr Tattersall’s constantly to keep ‘on top’ of my health rather than have it completely managed as it is now. In my opinion could use some better bedside manner, but not a big thing. Otherwise was happy with care

Dr Tattersall is fantastic. He explains everything fully and is as charming and accommodating as any busy specialist can be. I found out from him that my very first colonoscopy, decades before he became my gastroenterologist, found the most dangerous polyps of any discovered subsequently. That was well worth knowing for my younger relatives as I was only 44 at the time. Couldn’t recommend Dr Tattersall more highly.

As a Doctor everything was OK. I was told the cost would be $354 (in big bold font)( $735 minus $381 rebate). Then on the day of the procedure I had to pay $500 to the hospital and I was there already, so I did. I have subsequently found out that you have to pay $500 excess to the hospital if it is your first stay in a calendar year. Most people rarely have operations and so the $500 amount seems a like an almost guaranteed amount to pay.
