An absolute wonderful, caring and Christian man. He truly cares about his patients and will go the extra distance to see them get better. He stays with you to see you get better and cares how you are doing both physically and mentally. I have been with him for a long time and he is, by far, the best doctor I have worked with. I have been going to Dr. Stephen Spates since 2000. He is the only doctor I see on a regular basis, except for my GYN/Ob once a year for my check up. When I started seeing Dr. Spates, I had a plethora of health issues and concerns. The first major health challenge he figured out was that I had a gluten allergy. Fraud. My mother had a rare form of cancer, and he claimed that he could cure it. Including, having her fly all the way to the west coast to have treatments from his mentor. He used acupuncture, incense, and Zinc. He also claimed that he'd cured a patient who had MS (more likely, they were in remission). He then had the audacity to show his face at my mother's funeral! What about your Hippocratic Oath?
