I have Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease, which causes foot drop and foot bone deformities. I am so grateful for Dr. Knecht's vision and skill in rebuilding my foot and relocating two of my tendons to give me a structurally balanced, higher-functioning foot and ankle. He was recommended to me by both my GP and my orthotist as "one of the two" foot surgeons in Arizona that I should consider, and I understand why he's on the short list. Going back this year to have him do the other foot.
Dr. Knecht cleaned the arthritis on my heel which required lifting and re-anchoring my Achilles Tendon and removed screws from a previous surgery on my big toe and then fused the big toe. He did a great job and I’m now able to walk again without pain. His office staff and everyone at Northern Arizona Orthopaedics is very professional and my appointments were always on time.

Stephen Knecht is an absolute master surgeon, seriously the man performed a difficult ankle reconstruction for me, and after 45 years of suffering I have a wonderfully restored ankle. I cannot say enough about his courage an skill.
