I recently had a hip replacement and Dr. Hudson had done the surgery. I do think Dr. Hudson tries to charm you into using his services. However, his entire stuff is horrible. His nurse is rude and has bad bedside manners. Overall, the surgery went well however I would not use Dr. Hudson because his staff doesn’t know how to do anything right. They didn’t prescribe the right medication for me so I had a lot of pain for weeks. When I called the office, no one pick up the phone. This surgeon is a one star

My name is Elizabeth Ayers. I had a right hip replacement done by Dr. Hudson in August of 2022. I liked Dr. Hudson very much, he has a great bedside manner and was a calming influence when I was scared before surgery. The hip surgery has been successful on my hip, however, the procedure he used put my right leg in a traction boot and, according to surgical notes, "The leg was brought into external rotation and was dropped into extension and adduction." twice during the surgery. Dr Hudson's nurse was very rude. Wanted me to explain where I was having pain. When I did, she said "you're not here for us to fix neck pain. Dr Hudson was also not very professional. My MRI indicated that I have a shoulder tendon tear, which he said I did not and recommended physical therapy and was very dismissive of my pain, and gave me no other options. Am getting second opinion because do not want to injure myself further with physical therapy
