He fixed 2 discs for me over the years and did a great job. He's to the point and direct but thats what i want-professionalism, not coddling. Office staff is friendly and Tracey the PA is great too. Highly recommended

Dr. Calderon has done 5 fusions on my Spine and I have done very well, with it. At present , I will need some more done because of severe Arthritis, but will only go to him. He is 5 Star in my thoughts and I highly recommend him. He saved my husband who had a tumor on his Spinal cord, from the wheel chair and myself. Thank God for him.

I did not have any of the experiences the low star reviews had. I found Dr Calderone and his direct staff the most comforting of anyone I met at St Francsis. I think it's important to note not a single low rating review has to do with the skill of surgery. I was hiring the best professional to correct my back not a buddy(although I have no complaints about his demeanor or personality). The tremendous skill and talent of Dr. Calderon is quite extraordinary, absolutely profound. I feel privileged to have worked with this doctor twice, each outcome beyond successful. Since I have placed my life and care in his hands and he delivered each time, I unflinchingly and with great enthusiasm, recommend Dr Calderon to anyone requiring neurosurgery. He will restore your quality of life. He restored mine.

Wait time is ridiculous. Paper work much unnecessary and be careful the privacy release is unbelievable. You have no privacy rights.

I HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE WITH DR. STEPHEN F. CALDERON. HE ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS BEFORE SURGERY.

His bedside manner is terrible. I was newly diagnosed with brain cancer and the first thing he said without even introducing himself was that there was nothing he could do for me. He also interrupted a doctor who was in the middle of speaking to me. He is very arrogant.

My surgery went fine but Dr. Calderon does not talk to his patients enough. He would not elaborate on how the surgery went or any details about my condition. And I'm in the medical profession myself. When you go for an appointment you will see his physician's assistant 99% of the time.
