Dr Youmans in my opinion is the best. I valve him as my doctor

I have been a patient of Dr Youmans for years, everyone is personable, knows your name, and I appreciate that even during COVID they stayed open helping patients. My family likes the hours too Monday-Friday 7am -7pm so you didn't have to go to doctor's care or ER. I love that you can go to the website and book an appointment as well. Highly recommend this office!
Called his office on a Friday with what I thought might be pneumonia. The lady that answered the phone said there was only one provider on staff and that I should call back on Monday to get on a list to be seen. Went to urgent care and was diagnosed with bronchitis.
I've been seeing Dr. Youmans for years as well as seeing NP Lindsey Hammett on occasion, and have always had a positive experience. Both take their time to explain a situation as well as thoroughly answer any questions.
I understand that PAs carry most of the load these days. But I have little to no confidence in Dr. Youman's front office staff and one particular PA that seems to be on a "power trip".
I've been going to this office for ~10 years. I haven't seen Dr. Youmans in about 5 years. His PA's are great for the most part. The front desk is a nightmare to deal with at times. It would be nice to actually see my doctor. My husband has been going there for a few years now and has never seen Dr. Youmans.
Dr. Youman's take the time to talk and listen to his patience. He is the best doctor I have ever been too. I appreciate how he cares for not only me but all his patience.
Excellent experience as always!! Amazing staff, highly knowledgeable, and super friendly. Very little waiting time. My nurse practitioner, Lindsay Hammett, always brings such a positive energy into the room and actually takes the time to get to know her patients and their needs instead of just going through the motions. I have heard nothing but positive things from the friends and family I have referred here. I highly recommend Dr Youmans and his staff at Univ. Medical Assoc. of Aiken!!!
