I went to Dr. Bane a few years ago because I was having trouble breathing. I had seen a couple of ENT‘s about it. He scooted around on his chair very quickly, talked to me about my nose being crooked. Dr. Bane misdiagnosed me with a deviated septum 20 seconds after I sat in his chair. I sat down, mentioned I thought I had a deviated septum, he stuck his light up my nose for 5 seconds, then said “Yep, you’ve got a deviated septum.” I got a septoplasty, went through the whole process, now I learn that it was never a deviated septum. I have turbinate hypertrophy and needed a turbinate reduction. My insurance paid $10,000 to Bane for a surgery I didn’t need, on top of my copayment. I give zero stars but it's not an option. Went to see them originally for ear pain, got talked into a nasal procedure. No one there told me my insurance wouldn't cover it, now I'm stuck with a huge bill. Becareful with this company.
