I enjoy understanding family s perspectives on health to ensure that the choices we make for their children are the right ones for them. Being part of the residency program faculty ensures that I can incorporate cutting edge medical research and best practices into my practice. I love teaching and enjoy using evidence-based medical principles to ensure that we are achieving the best outcomes in care.

Dr Whitt is very thorough with her patients. She takes time to explain and educate her patients in ways they understand; not just mom and dad. This has made our 9-year-old daughter feel involved, in control of, and extremely interested in maintaining her health. She also takes time to answer all questions; we’ve never felt rushed in any appointments.
We have three children (ages 13, 11, and 8), and Dr. Whitt has been our pediatrician since the birth of our very first. She is the perfect pediatrician, in our view. She truly takes time with us at each and every appointment, regardless of whether it is a well check or a random other office visit, making sure that both we and our kids are well educated about the age and stage and that all of our questions are answered.
