I had been a patient of this practice since the early 2000’s starting with Dr Carol Cola in Pottstown. I unfortunately had the experience of meeting Stacy Katchman for the first (and last) time for a routine cancer screening check. She was rude, unprofessional and abrasive. When I asked for privacy to put my robe on she said “You knew I would see your body. I didn’t ask you to come here, you are the one who scheduled the appointment”. Without getting into embarrassing details, she made me feel uncomfortable and humiliated. S... read more
Zero stars! Rude, condescending, and obviously believes she is superior to not just patients but other doctors. My daughter was to be seen for a rash today that has been spreading and causing severe pain. While waiting the last week for our appointment, she started with severe pain to where she couldn’t sit upright and the rash looked infected. Took her to an urgent care this past Sunday where they diagnosed a cellulitis and started her on antibiotics which have been slowly helping. Kept our appt and followed up now today at... read more
Very rude and abrasive. Explained they don’t do mole removal unless medically necessary. One she agreed to do, further explained they don’t have numbing cream, “think about it I don’t need you getting queasy” Other doctors in this practice have removed moles with no questions asked and used numbing cream.
The most complete examination I have ever had from a dermatologist. Dr. Katchman found a minute dot on my daughter that was a melanoma and had to have limp nods removed. She saved my daughter's life.
If I could leave less than 1 star I would, I waited months for an appointment only to be seen by the actual doctor for 5 minutes and for her to tell me oh you're fine, perfectly healthy, and push me out the door like she was in a rush or something and didn't have the time of day. Not to mention my $160 bill for a lousy medical "professional".
Dr. Stacy Katchman has a 2.8 star rating with 9 reviews.
Dr. Stacy Katchman is open now. It will close at 5:00 p.m.
