Uma and Siram Perni got a lot of respect for uterine transplants in Ohio. One question though where my uterus and ovaries go? I need to know. I need a call from you for settlement. Pronto? Please explain.
If I could give zero stars I would. First experience there I tried to brush off. Second experience, nope refused care and left. Transferred to Toledos MFM center. Dr perni and the staff (most of them anyway) are very cold, and have horrible "bedside manner". Stand your ground with this one! Don't let them pressure you or scare you like they did us.
Such disappointing service. Dr. Perni prioritizes outdated, cold, rigid male-centered medical views & insurance payouts over the female experience of pregnancy & the mental well being of his patients.
I started seeing Perni because of my history of HELLP syndrome in my first pregnancy. The initial visit was very long (3 hours- mostly wait time and ultrasound, not consult), but as a specialist I didn’t hold that against the office. Our initial ultrasound showed baby had long long bones and they mentioned a concern for Marfan syndrome, but reassured me that he is probably just a big baby and that another ultrasound in 6 weeks would shed more light. This is the second pregnancy of mine that Dr. Perni has over seen. My first being 10 years ago. Honestly you couldn’t ask for a better doctor to look after you and your little one. His office staff is kind as well as the ultrasound techs I’ve never had a complaint:. I unfortunately had to use Toledo hospital with my last pregnancy but from Toledo hospital to here is night and day.
