I had a total knee replacement which has left me in 2-3 times as much pain as before the replacement (4-5 months out). The pain is exactly in the same place and is the same type of pain, only much, much worse! He couldn’t be more “unavailable” in person or with suggestions to help. It’s been 4-5 months and his answer is it’s a “perfect knee” but it may hurt forever!!! Explain to me how that’s perfect? And now, I wait another 6-8 weeks before I can even get a referral for a second opinion. Do NOT waste your time with him.
I had a hip replacement in my mid-thirties, so finding the best of the best was incredibly important - and that's exactly what I found in Dr. Rachala. His bedside manner is superb. He genuinely cares about his patients, and it shows in every interaction. His PA is also knowledgeable and supportive. I truly wouldn’t have chosen anyone else for such an important surgery.
