I consulted Dr. Sona Patel-Grimm for perimenopausal symptoms. Throughout my appointment, she focused primarily on my weight and strongly recommended weight loss medications. She dismissed my symptoms, saying they were normal, but then asked me to do advanced sonography tests and uterus biopsy to rule out cancer. I recently needed a new OB-GYN and also looking at family planning. A friend of mine was a patient at Capital women’s when she had her babies and was very happy so I gave it a try. Honestly don’t remember booking with Dr. Patel but I am so glad I did!! It’s like fate and I’m so thankful. The day comes for my new patient appointment. Great office with good locations. Covid protocols were followed. Front desk and nursing staff were all very nice and knowledgeable. Dr Patel Grimm is so amazing. She's sweet, smart, and so reassuring. She's held my hand in one of the toughest times of my life and I will forever remember her kindness.
Dr Patel Grimm is so very friendly. She puts her patients at ease very quickly when she comes into the exam room. She explains every aspect of the exam and eliminates all concerns. I admire her very much and appreciate her style and skill.
