Dr. Patel-Grimm is an incredibly kind and compassionate doctor who truly cares about her patients. She takes the time to listen and makes you feel supported and cared for. However, the office staff and communication need serious improvement. Following up with patients is just as important as the visit itself, and too often this is overlooked. My girlfriend recommended Dr. Sona. She spoke very highly of her but unfortunately this office would not answer any of my phone calls to schedule an appointment. I’ve tried several times at different days, different hours. When I relayed this to my friend who recommended the office to begin with she also stated that the office is extremely difficult to communicate with. It’s impossible to reach them. I had to go find another office due to this.
I consulted Dr. Sona Patel-Grimm for perimenopausal symptoms. Throughout my appointment, she focused primarily on my weight and strongly recommended weight loss medications. She dismissed my symptoms, saying they were normal, but then asked me to do advanced sonography tests and uterus biopsy to rule out cancer.
